Professor Huang Boyun
Prof. Huang obtained his bachelor's degree in Department of Special Metallurgy, Central South Institute of Mining and Metallurgy in 1969, and got his Ph. D. in Iowa State University, USA in 1986. Then he worked in The University of Tennessee and Oak Ridge National Lab as a postdoctor. In 1988, he came back to China. He was appointed as the president of the former Central South University of Technology in July, 1997, and the executive president of Central South University. In December, 1999, he was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
